The functional polymer materials research group was established in 2007. The Group currently has 3 professors, 5 associate professors, and 3 lecturers, including 4 doctoral supervisors and 6 master supervisors. The goal of the research team is to become a research team active in the field of functional polymer materials. The research work mainly focuses on advanced marine polymer materials, chiral polymer materials and photoelectric functional polymer materials. The functional polymer materials research group has undertaken more than 20 national-level scientific research projects, and published more than 300 SCI papers in scientific journals such as Science, Chemical Reviews, JACS, and Chemical Engineering Journal. More than 50 national invention patents have been authorized, 3 scientific and technological achievements have been transformed, and 3 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards have been awarded.
Mainly research directions include:
1. advanced marine polymer materials
2. chiral polymer materials
3. photoelectric functional polymer materials
