The composite materials research team was established in October 2006, with the background of “Three Marine-related Disciplines and Nuclear Science and Technology” and national defense needs, it is committed to the design, preparation, evaluation, and application research of materials. It mainly conducts research on advanced resin matrix composite, theoretical analysis of nuclear materials, special structural functional ceramic materials, sensitive materials and devices, and material surface and interface modification. The team consists of over 30 researchers, including 5 professors, 5 associate professors, 2 lecturers, and 6 visiting professors.
The leader of the research team is Professor Qiao Yingjie, doctoral supervisor, who also serves as member of Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, member of the Standing Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party of Heilongjiang Provincial Committee, member of the Teaching Committee for Materials Majors of the Ministry of Education, and Deputy Director and Secretary General of the Composite Material Design, Evaluation, and Application Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Composite Materials.
In the past five years, the team has undertaken over 40 projects, including the National Key R&D Program of China of the Ministry of Science and Technology (4 items), the Marine Engineering Research Special Project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (7 items), the National Natural Science Foundation of China (10 items), the Military Defense Project (15 items), and the Military Industry Group Plan Project (10 items). They have published over 100 high-level papers and applied for more than 20 patents.
