Based on the great threat of increasing water pollution to the ecological environment and human health, this team develops efficient water treatment functional materials for the removal of organic pollutants (dyes, bisphenol A, antibiotics, etc.) and inorganic pollutants (nitrate, nitrite, heavy metal ions, etc.) in water, and remove corresponding pollutants through photocatalysis or PMS activation. The team combines PMS with easy activation and dispersion characteristics with column reactors, the theoretical removal of pollutants is transformed into engineering applications. The reaction process is low consumption, inexpensive, and does not require additional light sources. The materials are efficient, easy to recover, and can be reused repeatedly. The team focuses on photoelectrocatalytic nitrogen fixation, seeking breakthroughs in efficient ammonia synthesis and industrial production.
