Material Surface and Interface Design and Functionalization Team

The leader of the research team is Professor Fu Yudong, doctor of engineering, doctoral supervisor. He is the vice president of Heilongjiang Heat Treatment Society, member of Cooling Technical Committee of Chinese Heat-treatment Society, member of Education and Training Committee of China Heat Treatment Association. There are 3 researchers in the team, including 1 professor, 1 associate professor and 1 lecturer.

Main research directions include:

1) Strengthening and Toughening and Structural Control of Metal Materials

2) Material Surface and Interface Theory and Engineering

3) Multi-scale Design and Numerical Simulation of Materials

4) Design and Preparation of Functional Thin Films

5) Shape Memory Alloy

6) Thermoelectric Materials

The research team has published over 200 scientific research papers, obtained 7 authorized invention patents and 3 ministerial and provincial level science and technology awards. It has undertaken over 20 scientific research projects, including new-tech ships, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang Province, and Key Scientific and Technological Research Projects of Heilongjiang Province. It has headed and completed 5 ministerial and provincial level educational reform projects, and won 1 first prize and 1 second prize of the provincial teaching award. It has guided students to participate in multiple innovation and skill contests at all levels, and has won more than 20 national first and second prizes.
